Pre-Conference Workshop
Modeling Subsurface Flow using FEFLOW 6
16–17 September 2011, conference venue »Leipziger KUBUS«
This workshop provides an overview of the groundwater simulation system FEFLOW and allows the participants to develop basic skills in applying the software.
After a general overview, we will do a hands-on exercise for a regional flow and contaminant transport model in FEFLOW (please bring your own laptop for following the exercise). While working on the example model, the main concepts of FEFLOW and the handling of the user interface will be introduced. We will discuss more complex applications in different fields, and the workshop will be concluded with time for questions and discussion. Coffee breaks are included. You may have lunch in the nearby UFZ canteen on Friday at your own expense.
